This peculiar machine appears to have been dumped in the Netherlands by some 'PC Privé project', cheap pcs for employees of a company. Manuals and software are in French, the display shows hardly more than 10 lines, the space inside for a built-in printer goes unused, and let's not forget the strange memory modules, that come as ROM units loaded with software and as RAM modules. Data exchange with regular pc's is therefore only possible using the serial ports at the back of the 5000. Luckily communication software has been included, as well as a word processor and a lot more. And luckily the French manuals have also been passed on to me. They may not be very useful, but they certainly are unique.
